About ThorSport Ranch
ThorSport Ranch is an Elite Reining Horse Operation Standing at the Forefront of the Performance Horse Industry.
ThorSport Farm and Ranch reflect the Thorson Family’s commitment to excellence in the equestrian world. ThorSport Farm North, in Sandusky, Ohio, was established as a training facility for a young girl dedicated to Tennessee Walking Horse disciplines. it’s also served as a testing facility for their agricultural companies and brands initially developed to meet their own needs: Tenda Horse Products, FarmPaint, and ThorTurf. Today, the farm is dedicated to raising and breeding a herd of future Western performance champions.
The success of the Ohio farm’s Tennessee Walkers—with more than 90 world championships and 1,000 blue ribbons—inspired the development of ThorSport Farm South in Murfreesboro, Tenn. to serve the high demand for training in Tennessee Walking Horse country.
ThorSport South later expanded as a premier boarding and training facility to accommodate all equine disciplines. With this growth came a greater need for veterinary services and the establishment of the Equine Surgical Center (ESC) at ThorSport Farm for large animals and athletes requiring special care. In partnership with ESC, the farm is now transitioning into a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center.
ThorSport Ranch in Aubrey, Texas—formerly Green Valley Ranch and Cardinal Ranch—was established in February of 2025 to accommodate the family’s rapidly scaling Western performance interests developed to meet the growing demand for top-quality performers. The newly renovated ranch will honor its rich history while breeding, raising, training, and selling elite, championship reining, cutting, and cow horses. Together, ThorSport Farm and Ranch continue to blend passion, innovation, and care—honoring excellence in the powerful bond between horse and human.
